About the EcoAqua 5231JA2006A: The filter is approximately 30.6 cm high and 5.5 cm in diameter. It can filter an estimated capacity of 1135 litres. The EcoAqua EFF-6003A undergoes rigorous NSF International testing for quality and is fully NSF certified.
Filter Life: Refrigerator manufacturers normally recommend that filters be replaced every 6 months or when the “change filter” light comes on. This regular replacement protects the inner working of your fridge water dispenser and ice maker.
The 5231JA2006 A/B removes the following impurities from your drinking water:
99% of Lead, 91-99% of Mercury, 96% of Benzene, more than 99% of Cysts , 96% of herbicides, 99% insecticides, 97% Chlorine and more than 99% of particles ofrust, sand, dirt and sediment (0.5 to 1 micron in size).
It is also reported to improve the clarity of the water by up to 99%.
This filter does NOT remove Fluoride.
Overall, it provides better tasting and smelling water with improved clarity.

How do I install my new filter?
Installing your new water filter:
Twist the old filter a ¼ turn counterclockwise.
Pull the filter straight out and discard (The water will shut off automatically).
Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops.
Twist the filter a ¼ turn clockwise.
Reset your “change filter” light (if your fridge has one).
