Double Fluoride reduction water filter cartridges 10 inch x 2.5 inch.     1 x Omnipure activated alumina fluoride removal cartridge USA made and 1 x 0.45 micron multipure beige coconut carbon filter USA made.

These filters are for use with our twin under sink filter systems or twin countertop filter systems.

Reduces fluoride and removes giardia & cryptosporidium, chlorine, chemicals, asbestos, heavy metals,  bad taste and odours.

Clean safe and healthy great tasting drinking water.

Metal removal includes Lead and Mercury.

Will fit most brands of standard 10 inch  bench top & under sink systems.

Please make sure you flush the 1st stage activated alumina fluoride removal filter on its own for 5 mintues before adding the 2nd stage carbon filter.    Failure to do this will result in a shorter lifespan of the filters.

Dimensions are 248mm x 70mm for each filter.

Fits all 10″ x 2.5″ water filter housings. Usually used as the second filter in a triple filter system with sediment and carbon block filters or as the first filter in twin countertops or twin under bench water filter systems

Used for: Drinking water to remove Fluoride, Chlorine, Heavy metals, Bacteria etc

The ‘activated alumina’ filter cartridges utilise alumina to absorb >90% of fluoride for up to 1,900 litres. This 9 ¾” activated alumina filter cartridge is installed prior to the carbon filter for taste correction. These cartridges provide a claimed 1,900 treated litres of water which is around 5 litres per day for 12 months.

Note: Not to be used with hot water. Carbon Block filter to be installed in-line after this filter.
Installation: Use 10″ filter housing and close tightly using a housing spanner – then check for leaks.
Flush: Flush with ~20 litres water – not through carbon block filter.

Note: The Activated Alumina in the filter forms a chemical reaction with the fluoride and removes it from the water, essentially trapping it in the filter. But only has a certain capacity to do so. Once capacity is reached, it loses it effectiveness to absorb the fluoride. Important to replace annually or sooner.

6 – 12 month cartridge change recommended depending on your water quality and usage.
